About me

This blog is written with you in mind, to try to give you a more personal insight into our villas, their locations and the destinations they are found in.  A beautifully photographed villa which ticks all the boxes can evoke enough desire to press the ‘book now’ button, but i wanted to go the extra mile and give you a more personal knowledge of what we bring to you and how it can enhance those precious days of rest and relaxation that we all desperately need!

Under the following headings you will find:

Travelling, visiting places, the journey. From daily excursions to island hopping.  Our impressions of our destinations we would like to present to you and why you will love them too.

Villa views

Insights and views from the villa locations themselves. Those ‘a-ha’ moments which remind us why we love the villa so much.

Bits of this and that, like the array of appetizers that you would find on your table in the company of friends and family everywhere in Greece.

We hope you like our posts and we would love to hear your comments as well.  Dont forget you can also ‘share’ them too!

About Greek Boutique
We are a small, ‘hands on’ team who aspire to giving you an unforgettable holiday experience. I, Elizabeth Cass-Kanti, am ‘the boss’.  Anni is our number crunching, office organizing saviour.  Tracy is our ‘oracle’ and local expert who will pop in and share her boundless knowledge with you if you are staying in Rhodes.  Charlotte is head house-keeper; it’s her you are to thank for your fragrant linen and spotless villa.

About me
Cheesily enough, I am almost a Shirley Valentine (although i didn’t leave a scouse husband behind – or any husband come to that!) An Essex girl who started her career in travel and tourism as a holiday rep on the Greek island of Rhodes after a brief summer in Crete in the hedonistic resort of Malia.  In Crete I made cheese toasties on the beach by day and sampled cocktails by night.  Fearing for my liver I decided that if my desire to work abroad was to have a shelf life I had better get a ‘proper job’.  So I signed up for a season of ‘resort representative’.  My liver survived intact and my sanity despite over exposure to sleep deprivation and some really bad holiday accommodation.  7 years after first setting foot on Greek soil, a tad disillusioned at the holiday industry and ready for a distraction I met my husband and quickly became a willing participant in a  ‘Grenglish’ marriage which, I am happy to say, still thrives to this day.

After dabbling in the family hotel business whilst raising our 2 girls I decided to explore a new business opportunity presented by the growth in foreign holiday home owners in Rhodes. I started Key property management services, a property management company to give customers ‘piece of mind for your piece of Rhodes’.  Inspired by the lovely homes I looked after and encouraged by their tentative successes on the independent holiday market I took the leap of faith to open a travel agency that could offer these beautiful properties to a wider market and complete the whole holiday experience. So Greek boutique was created and continues growing!  We started in Rhodes and have now spread our wings to include Crete, Santorini and Zakynthos.

We hand pick our villas from the many we are offered.  We choose private villas with pools that offer comfort, location and their own ‘WOW’ factor  because this is the type of holiday we enjoy too.  And judging by the amount of repeat guests we have, it’s what you enjoy too!
